Following the success of the GetUp‘n’Go Personal Training Studio in Newport, Essex, a second site in Ware, Hertfordshire, has just been launched.The facility, which opened in January, is equipped with nine CV machines from the Life Fitness CPO (Certified Pre-Owned) range, together with the company’s latest product, the Summit Trainer and two Concept2 rowers.
There is also a Cable Motion Dual Adjustable Pulley, pieces from the Pro2SE range and a selection of free weights.
Director of GetUp‘n’Go, David Hughes, explains: “With all the additional costs of developing the business, buying brand new equipment wasn’t really viable. The CPO equipment is excellent value for money and enabled our budget to stretch much further. We also have it in our Newport studio and it’s been fantastic. The machines are effectively as good as new – they look great and are very reliable too.”
Located in The Maltings, Ware, the 3,000sq ft GetUp‘n’Go studio has been completely refurbished to incorporate the gym, a treatment room, changing facilities and an office. It is open from 7.30am to 8.30pm Monday to Friday and 7.30am until lunchtime on Saturdays. There are currently four trainers working across the two sites.
David Hughes continues: “We offer personal training for groups of up to four at a time. There are no joining fees or membership fees, as people pay per session. We are very pleased with the response so far and have already seen a steady stream of people wanting to use our service.”
Dylan Fairclough, Channel Sales Manager for Life Fitness, adds: “This is a great facility and has all the potential to become as successful as the original site. CPO equipment is perfect for this type of facility. It provides a very cost effective solution with the same high quality look and performance traditionally associated with Life Fitness.”
